The company was established in 1987 and moved into its own new facilities in 2000. It works on private projects, focusing on bespoke wood constructions and construction-related production work. Our company, has deep expertise in customize manufacture of furniture, and it is very adaptable while using up-to-date techniques in construction. In 2009 the company set up apWood Constructions & Equipment.

A new division operated on factory premises measuring 2000 m2 which is responsible for high-quality flexible constructions, general design, sales and quotations.

The basic associates of apWood is L. Pippas, a civil engineer with 29 years experience in specialist wood constructions and Ms A. Argyrokou, an architect engineer with 20 years’ experience in her field. Our dedicated staff consists of skilled and fully trained specialists. The expertise of our staff in terms of producing specialist mid- and large-scale wood constructions was acquired by fitting out high-profile buildings.

Our team share company’s vision and is ready to accept any challenge in construction. The workshop staff, all of whom have been with the company for a long time, include designers, production managers, carpenters, cabinet-makers, joiners, varnishers in production line and installers on site.

Our equipment includes both traditional machinery, such as bandsaws, thicknessers, whirligig saws, hotpresses, mitring saws, presses, sanders, squaring machines etc. and modern electronic equipment such as CNC, cut-out tools, edge welders, mitres etc. We use state of the art equipment and we use European suppliers for our raw materials. We continue to produce quality specialist wood constructions, and work to international regulations.

Our objectives are to ensure we have skilled staff and specialist equipment, produce quality products and be ensured that our clients vision is implemented.
